MISSION
STATEMENT:
To
ensure the future of the White-tailed Deer and other wildlife that occupy such
lands,
and
to preserve hunting traditions in an ethical and sustainable manner for future
generations.
GOALS
1.
HABITAT CONSERVATION: To promote the acquisition,
restoration, and enhancement of wildlife habitat by way of directing
funds towards habitat programs
2.
PROTECT THE RESOURCE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS: To protect and
enhance the well being of the white-tailed deer populations for the full enjoyment of
all.
3.
HUNTER EDUCATION AND RETENTION: To preserve ethical hunting
traditions for future generations by placing emphasis on recruiting and retaining youth hunters and
getting them involved in conservation activities.
4.
EDUCATION: To support and promote educational campaigns to ensure
that the public has a better understanding, and support for, practical conservation measures, to
encourage an appreciation for the resource, respect for landowners and enhancement of
habitat.
5.
LANDOWNERS RELATIONS: To encourage responsible and ethical
hunting practices by hunters and to work with landowners on conservation and access issues.
