Annual
Trophy Rules:
Trophies
are provided to
members of the World Of Whitetail for typical and non-typical
entries for whitetail and mule deer in each of the following
categories:
> Archery
> Muzzleloader/shotgun
> Rifle
> Conservation
(smallest)
The
member with the top scoring animal (largest score) will receive the
trophy, except for the Conservation Buck (smallest score). To
be eligible for the Conservation Buck trophy, the animal must have
at least 3 scoreable points on at least one side.
ELIGIBILITY:
To
be eligible for any trophy, membership in the World Of Whitetail
must be purchased prior to September 1 of the year, and submitted to
either the President or Director of Memberships prior to September
15 of the same year. No entries will be accepted for any
animal that is taken prior to purchasing a membership.
ENTRY
PROCESS:
>
Only animals harvested in the
current calendar year are accepted for entry;
>
All
animals must be taken under the rules of “fair chase”;
>
Animals taken within the
province where a membership is sold, are eligible;
>
All game must be taken according
to dates, seasons, game laws and regulations as posted in the Big
Game Hunting Guide;
>
All entries must be received prior to December 31;
>
All game heads to be entered must be scored and signed by a
recognized measurer (Henry Kelsey, Boone and Crocket, Pope and
Young, or club measurer from a branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife
Federation;
>
A copy of the score sheet must accompany the entry;
>
All entries must be signed by an official scorer and the scorer’s
registration number must be provided;
>
All entries must be accompanied by a photograph of the entry;
>
The score sheet must contain all the relevant information as
indicated on both sides of the score sheet;
>
All score sheets must be signed by the scorer and the applicant.
